The Florida Gators Football Program Unveils Newest Air Jordan 5 PE

Another striking Jordan PE for the Gainesville-based university.

Every year, Jordan Brand exhibits love and respect for the collegiate athletic programs it sponsors through gifting of special player exclusives. And the next destination of higher education to receive their kicks is none other than the University of Florida — the school responsible for breeding Carlos Dunlap and the now-retired Maurkice Pouncey — who has just pulled back the curtains and unveiled its latest Air Jordan 5 PE.

As expected, the shoes are designed to translate the team colors of the Gainesville-based institution. Heavy school pride is infused into its classic leather build which is dripped in bold blue and overlapped by a sea of tonal elephant print that wrap from front to back. Translucent compositions are brought to the table and distributed to the netted territories atop the mid-foot and throat. To further echo its theme, the school’s Gator head logo is firmly planted onto the tongues, while the heel’s more favored Nike Air hit complements with an orange skin.

A bright white tone engulfs the midsole’s background, and is married up next to the model’s traditional spike molds, the latter of which is painted over with orange and decorated with speckled wallpaper. Translucent treading is glued underneath to string together its look.
