The continuation of the saga that has endured two decades.
Despite being delayed an entire year, Universal Pictures ran a Super Bowl LV Spot for F9: Fast & Furious 9. The latest look at the next chapter in the Fast & Furious saga offers a glimpse at the family getting back together.
Fast & Furious 9 will see the return of Justin Lin as director and returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel and Sung Kang, with Oscar winner Helen Mirren and Oscar winner Charlize Theron.
According to the synopsis, “Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).”
Originally scheduled to hit theaters in May 2020, F9: Fast & Furious 9 is set to release later this yet and continue the saga that has endured for two decades and has earned more than $5 billion USD around the world.
